This Privacy Policy describes how Monirox ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

Monirox is designed with privacy in mind. All financial data you enter into the App, including:

• Account information
• Transactions
• Categories and budgets
• Financial goals
• Debt information
• Any other personal financial data

is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or third parties.

1.2 Anonymous Analytics (Optional)

With your explicit consent, we may collect anonymous usage analytics to help us improve the App. This includes:

• App usage patterns (e.g., which features are used most frequently)
• App performance metrics
• Crash reports to identify and fix bugs

We never collect personal or financial data through analytics. All analytics data is anonymized and cannot be linked to your identity or financial information.

You can opt-out of analytics collection at any time through the App's Settings under "Privacy & Security" by disabling "Send Anonymous Analytics".

1.3 Advertising Data

For free users, the App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. To provide and improve ad services, AdMob may collect:

• Device identifiers (such as Advertising ID)
• Device information (device type, operating system)
• Ad interaction data (clicks, impressions)
• Approximate location (derived from IP address, not precise GPS location)

Important: We use non-personalized ads by default, which means AdMob does not use your personal information or browsing history to show you targeted ads. However, AdMob may still collect device information for ad delivery and measurement purposes.

Premium subscribers do not see advertisements and therefore no advertising data is collected for Premium users.

You may be asked to allow tracking for personalized ads. This is optional, and you can decline. If you allow tracking, AdMob may use your data to show more relevant ads. You can change this preference at any time in your device's Settings.

1.4 Device Information

We may collect limited device information necessary for the App to function properly, such as:

• Device type and operating system version
• App version
• Language preferences

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the App's functionality
• Display advertisements to free users (through AdMob)
• Improve the App's performance and user experience
• Identify and fix technical issues and bugs
• Understand how users interact with the App (anonymous analytics only)

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage

All your financial data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to external servers.

3.2 Security Measures

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data:

• Optional Face ID or Passcode protection (enabled in Settings)
• Data encryption at rest using iOS security features
• No cloud synchronization unless explicitly initiated by you through backup/export features

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Google AdMob

For free users, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the App. AdMob is a service provided by Google that:

• Displays banner advertisements within the App
• Uses non-personalized ads by default (does not use personal information for ad targeting)
• May collect device identifiers and ad interaction data for ad delivery and measurement
• Is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service

Premium subscribers do not see advertisements, and therefore AdMob does not collect any data from Premium users.

You can opt-out of personalized advertising by declining the App Tracking Transparency prompt when it appears, or by adjusting your device's privacy settings.

4.2 Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting. These services:

• Only collect anonymized usage data (when you opt-in)
• Do not have access to your personal or financial information
• Are subject to Google's Privacy Policy

You can disable this at any time in the App's Settings.

4.3 Apple Services

The App uses Apple's services for:

• In-App Purchases (StoreKit) - processed by Apple
• App distribution through the App Store

Any information shared with Apple is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. App Tracking Transparency

In accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, we may request your permission to track your activity across apps and websites. This permission is:

• Optional: You can decline tracking and still use the App
• Used for advertising: If you allow tracking, AdMob may use this information to show you more relevant ads
• Not required: The App functions fully without tracking permission

If you decline tracking, you will still see advertisements, but they will be non-personalized ads based on general categories rather than your specific interests.

You can change your tracking preference at any time in your device's Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

• With Your Consent: When you explicitly choose to export or backup your data
• Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights
• Service Providers:
  • Anonymous analytics data may be processed by Firebase (Google), but only when you opt-in
  • Advertising data is processed by Google AdMob for free users to display ads

Your financial data is never shared with any third party, including AdMob, Firebase, or any other service provider.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access all your data stored locally in the App
• Export your data at any time through the App's export feature
• Delete your data by using the "Reset App" feature in Settings
• Opt-out of anonymous analytics collection
• Control Face ID/Passcode protection
• Upgrade to Premium to remove advertisements
• Control ad tracking through your device's privacy settings

8. Children's Privacy

Monirox is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

Note: AdMob may serve age-appropriate ads, but we do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use the App.

9. Data Retention

Your data is retained on your device until you:

• Delete the App
• Use the "Reset App" feature
• Manually delete specific data within the App

When you delete the App, all local data is removed from your device.

Advertising data collected by AdMob is retained according to Google's data retention policies, which you can review in Google's Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Posting the new Privacy Policy on this page
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Notifying you through the App if significant changes are made

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

11. International Users

If you are using the App from outside the United States, please note that your data is stored locally on your device and is subject to the privacy laws of your jurisdiction. Advertising data processed by AdMob may be subject to Google's data processing practices, which comply with applicable international privacy laws.
